A Beautiful Day In Malibu

Recently, I went to Malibu for the first time! I was so excited to spend a day there because I have seen this place on countless T.V. shows and movies – and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This is a full day itinerary of what I did.
Visited the Getty Villa Museum.
This Museum is placed on acres of gardens and includes a beautiful, centered terrace. There are over 125,000 items in their Greek, Roman and Egyptian museum collections. It is free to enter, but you have to reserve your ticket in advance, and it costs $25 to park. I went in the morning, where it was much cooler to lounge around the garden, and this also left plenty of time to explore other areas of Malibu more throughout the day.
Malibu Seafood was highly recommended. For good reason too – the food was delicious. The café’s slogan is “The reason we don’t serve breakfast is we’re out catching lunch”. There are two outdoor patios where you can eat your fresh seafood after you have placed your order. There is also a fish market located inside the order station. Food was 10/10! I had the lobster roll and fried shrimp with fries.
Malibu beach looks exactly how you think it would look – picturesque and serene. The waves are very scenic as well. As it gets later in the day (around 5-6pm) the temperature does drop - so be sure to bring a light jacket or pullover if you go and want to stay until/after sunset.
See more of the world around you!
