8 Practical Tips to Live Well

Living well entails living with balance, joy, and purpose. You deserve to live a life that brings you happiness and fulfillment. To do that, use these 8 practical tips to live well in your everyday life.
Focus on your relationship with yourself. There are a few ways to focus on a relationship with yourself. One is to not indulge in other’s affairs, another is to develop a heart of gratitude (which keeps you away from comparison) and last but not least practicing self-care! Do things that build your confidence.
Make spirituality a priority. Focusing on spirituality helps to heal and center you. It also gives you a sense of purpose and well being. When you focus on your spirituality, fruits of the spirit can be developed: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are all things/characteristics that you will need on your journey.
Consume a mindful and balanced diet. A mindful and balanced diet consists of taking vitamins, drinking water and eating fruits and veggies daily. A good way to hold yourself accountable to these mindful diet habits is to use our 6-month daily habit tracker.
Exercise. Movement promotes health, which in turn promotes longevity. Daily 20-minute walks and strength training 2-3 days a week is what is recommended to improve your longevity and quality of life.

Develop a strong work ethic. Idleness is dangerous - it puts you in position to go nowhere fast. Working is rewarding - it develops character, can increase your finances and comes with advantageous opportunities. Choose the work!
Make choices that align with your values and goals. Our values are our core beliefs, and it is important to identify what your values are so that you can make clear goals that align with them. Achieving these goals are a great way to increase your sense of self-worth and confidence.
Take days off. If we want to reach our full potential, we must make sure we are not exhausted. It is important to seek professional help if exhaustion and lack of energy persist over long periods of time but some practical ways to combat exhaustion is to take breaks when working, declutter your workspace and write your thoughts down.
