Starting a business is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Here are three key tips to remember to help you start strong or sharpen your skills!

1. Anybody Can Start a Business

Starting a business has never been more accessible. Thanks to countless free resources such as online courses, tutorials, and platforms like Google and YouTube, new businesses can thrive! In our first year, we relied heavily on accessing these tools, and now we’re sharing what we’ve learned! Download our free Business Together: First 100 Days in Business eGuide to streamline your journey.

Pro Tip: While anyone can start a business, it’s essential to ensure it’s the right path for you. Seek God’s guidance—if this isn’t His plan, trust that He has something even better in store for you!

2. Do Not Work for Immediate Profit or Gain

Chasing quick profits can be counterproductive. Instead, focus on building a strong foundation and finding your rhythm. In our first year, we prioritized refining our business model and building relationships. Strong communication with business partners and meaningful connections with customers are key—happy customers are more likely to return and support your growth.

Pro Tip: While financial stability matters, the early stages are best spent reinvesting profits into the business. Allocate funds to areas like marketing, development, and expansion. This approach builds long-term financial health and sets the stage for sustainable success.

3. Avoid Burnout

The early stages of building a business are demanding, but overworking can lead to stress and burnout. Burnout impacts decision-making, productivity, creativity, and even your physical and mental health. Prioritizing self-care and setting boundaries early on helps maintain a healthy work-life balance. A clear and rested mind is essential for tackling the challenges and changes that come with growing a business—so don’t forget to take care of yourself!

Let us know which tips you’ve tried — we’re cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉
